Dr. Hezteine Foster

Director of Academic Affairs, Legacy Education Center

Serving as Director of Academic Affairs at Legacy Education Center, Dr. Hezteine Foster oversees academic opportunities and the "Dr. Hezteine Foster College & Career Bound GED Program". She has experience working with K-12 and higher education. Prior to becoming a professor, Director of Student Services, and a faculty chairperson at Virginia University, where she initiated the Teacher Advisory Program and Testing Program, Dr. Foster taught at Longwood University.  In addition to her position at Legacy College, Dr. Foster is the President of the Central High Museum and the Assembly of Charlotte. Dr. Foster is a graduate of Virginia University of Lynchburg, Virginia State University, and Bluefield State College. She holds three degrees in Doctor Min. Dissertation: A Paradigm for Increasing Learning Skills Development Amongst College Students, M.S. in Education, and a B.S. in Science and Social Science.
